OSHA 10 Hour & 30 Hour

Research confirms that on the job incidents, accidents, and injuries are more likely to occur with new employees rather than more experienced workers. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) aims to save lives, prevent injuries, and protect the health of America's workers. If the lack of proper training is mostly to blame for higher injury rates, then training should and will help provide a solution.

Southern Safety Services (SSS) offers both OSHA/10hr and OSHA/30hr training courses for construction industry. The purpose of OSHA training is help workers become more informed about workplace hazards as well as to promote workplace health and safety. It is also important to note that this course highlights hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention in addition to OSHA standards; this means more bang for your buck!

To our customers we recommend that OSHA 10hr is most effective for entry-level workers and OSHA 30hr is more appropriate for supervisors or workers with safety responsibilities.

SSS's OSHA training program follows the training requirements excerpted from Title 29,Code of Federal Regulations Part 1926:

What does the class cover?

  1. Introduction to OSHA
  2. Managing Safety and Health
  3. Focus Four Hazards
  4. Personal Protective and Lifesaving Equipment
